We make
things that
last.
HEMLOCK is a small team based in Sofia. We design in close partnership with mills and workshops across England, Portugal, Italy, Scotland, and Japan. Every piece starts with the material.
We use waxed cotton from James Waller & Sons, oxford cloth from Thomas Mason, melton from Italian mills, Shetland wool from Johnston's of Elgin. We don't use synthetic fibres or blended shortcuts.
We don't release seasonal collections. We build a range of things that work, and we keep making them until we find a reason to improve them. Prices don't change because we didn't cut anything to meet a margin.
Everything is made in Europe or Japan, in workshops we visit. We know the people who cut and sew these garments. That matters to us, and we think it shows.
